Lime & Sea Salt Shishito Peppers

Elevate your sauted shishito peppers with fresh squeezed lime juice and salt. They go great as an appetizer with fresh margaritas, and also make an awesome side dish to tacos.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb shishito peppers
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • sea salt or kosher salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil over medium high heat in a large sauté pan until shimmering and hot.
  • Toss in the peppers and cook for about five minutes. Turn them occasionally with tongs to get the skins blistered and brown.
  • Once they are softer, brown and blistery, put them into a serving bowl and toss with lime juice and sea salt to taste.
