Loaded Greek Hummus Dip
I love nothing more than dip things. French fries, chicken fingers, chips, and pita bread. Yum Pita Bread. Hummus is one of my very favorite things to eat at a get together, and this Loaded Greek Hummus Dip just takes everything to a whole other level.
There are many things I love about this Loaded Greek Hummus Dip. At the top of that list is that it is easy, requires no heating or baking and can be assembled ahead of time. Top that with the fact that it’s beautiful to look at, and extremely healthy and you have a winning dip on your hands.
This Loaded Greek Hummus Dip gets topped with chopped English cucumber (so no crunchy seeds), cherry tomatoes, pitted greek olives, salty feta cheese, and fresh sprigs of dill. It’s so flavorful on your pita chip and really irresistible. It’s a great and easy way to dress up store bought hummus, or you can make your own hummus as well.
I serve mine with crunchy sea salt pita chips, but pita bread would be great to go along with this too. I also drizzled my hummus with olive oil and sprinkled on smoked paprika and za’atar seasoning. The smokiness from the paprika goes SO well with the toasty tahini flavor in the hummus. I added za’atar seasoning to put more of a Middle Eastern punch in my dip. You can find Za’atar in the spice aisle of most grocery stores. I’ve seen it everywhere from Whole Foods to Kroger and Walmart. All it is is a blend of herbs and spices. Most notably thyme, sumac, and sesame seeds. I like mine to have a little cumin in it too. You can get it on Amazon too: https://amzn.to/3vOL9MD
I hope you enjoy this delicious and healthy dip at your next get together, or as dinner (I won’t tell I promise).

Loaded Greek Hummus
Ingredients
- 20 oz plain hummus I like Sabra Classic Hummus
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp za’atar optional
- 2 1/2 C English cucumber small dice
- 1/2 c quartered cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 C pitted greek olives
- 1/4 C feta cheese crumbled off a block
- dill sprigs
- pita chips for serving
Instructions
- Empty the containers of hummus into a bowl or serving platter. Spread the hummus around the bottom of the serving piece.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the hummus and sprinkle the smoked paprika and za’atar evenly over the top.
- I like to pile the cucumber, tomatoes, olives, and feta cheese in a half moon on one side of the platter to create visual interest.
- Then place small sprigs of dill on the top and serve with warm pita bread or crispy sea salt pita chips.
